On the use of yearly load scenarios to estimate the volume of curtailed generation

摘要: The connection of a distributed generation (DG) unit to distribution network may lead current or voltage constraints: curtailment can be way solve them. In this article, we explain how DG volume estimated. This could used in contract between the system operator (DSO) and owner unit. proposed method makes use large number yearly load scenarios at 10-minute time steps, calculates energy curtailed each case, order constraints over 1-year 3-year period. Finally, statistical analysis is conducted assess which should chosen, compliance with certain value risk. A case study developed on French network.
