摘要: Substantial structural changes may occur in ball bearings during high stress contact fatigue. The phenomenon is frequently reported the literature. Unfortunately, different authors have used terminologies for identifying various features observed. In addition, most investigators restricted their methods to light optical metallographic techniques. This has caused considerable disagreement interpreting resulting structures. purpose of present work been contribute classification fatigued by use a combined and electron microscope technique, which earlier successfully applied simple, well-known steel It proved possible distinguish number well-defined propose an improved nomenclature compared literature reports.
