摘要: Understanding the impact of weather variability on current agricultural production systems is great importance for development strategies adapting to and mitigating potential climate change food security in Mekong Delta Vietnam. This essay assesses short-term rice aquaculture production, documents ways which farmers have dealt with anomalies, suggests adapt future. Statistical series data (1990–2008) information collected from previous projects were analyzed. The probabilities occurrences anomalies calculated multiple regression analyses conducted identify estimate significant effects various variables yields fish or shrimp both irrigated coastal regions. results showed that temperature rainfall key strongly influenced production. Vulnerability levels differed by crops, crop-development stages, cropping seasons, Rice was found be more sensitive than aquaculture, Pangasiuscatfish culture. impacts became severe during early vegetative, flowering, ripening stages crops. wet-season crop region vulnerable dry-season region, respectively. Local coped past applying appropriate farming techniques. Nonetheless, further measures are essential.
