Nodular fasciitis on the zygomatic region: a rare presentation

摘要: Nodular fasciitis is a benign tumor, resulting from reactive proliferation composed of fibroblastic/myofibroblastic cells. Due to its rapid growth and high cellularity it may be mistaken for sarcoma. Despite the possibility spontaneous regression, excision treatment choice. A 24-year-old female patient presented with nodule on zygomatic region 3 months evolution. Excisional biopsy was performed. Histopathological examination associated immunohistochemical markers HHF35, AML Ki-67 allowed diagnostic confirmation.
