摘要: Biomolecule responses in macromolecular constructs, on device surfaces, or nanometer-dimension electronic circuits rely a limited number of biologically active molecules. Manifestation biological activity surfaces significantly depends molecular orientation and the mode biomolecule immobilization. Procedures have been elaborated allowing unrestricted immobilization biomolecules to inert surfaces. Among immobilized so far are proteins — enzymes, antibodies, peptides nucleic acids, polycarbohydrates lipids. Surface materials include organic inorganic polymers, glass, silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide many others. Covalent oriented has attained with bifunctional photoreagents which photoimmobilized surface material prior thermochemical biomolecules. Purple membrane patches antigen-recognizing fragments monoclonal antibodies linked mica Binding purple membranes was monitored by atomic force microscopy. Delineated procedures set guidelines for future engineering structured nanophase stringent requirements size, function.
