摘要: C-reactive protein (CRP) is an acute phase whose levels are increased in many disorders. There exists, particular, a great deal of interest the correlation between blood serum and severity risk for cardiovascular disease. A sensitive, label-free, non-amplified reusable electrochemical impedimetric biosensor detection CRP was developed herein based on controlled coverage optimised antibody immobilization standard polycrystalline gold electrodes. Charge transfer resistance changes were highly target specific, linear with log concentration across 0.5-50nM range associated limit 176pM. Significantly, limits better than those current clinical methods assays potentially cheap, relatively automated, reusable, multiplexed portable. The generated interfaces capable not only comfortably quantifying clinically relevant concentrations but also doing this whole that were, subsequently, reusable. importance optimising receptor layer maximising assay sensitivity detailed.
