摘要: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the prevalence of antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) together with immunological characteristics patients occlusive retinal vascular disorders (ORVD) and without risk factors (systemic arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, embolizing cardiac disease) for occlusions compared to ocular inflammatory diseases (OID) healthy controls. METHODS: Sixty-eight ORVD, 45 OID, 49 persons were prospectively studied. Serologic studies included determination anticardiolipin antibodies, lupus anticoagulant, antinuclear (ANA), levels complement 4 3, total hemolytic (CH100), circulating immune complexes (CIC). RESULTS: Elevated aPL detected in 16 (24%) ORVD (9%) OID (OR 3.15, p < 0.05) (8%) controls 3.46, 0.05). No significant differences seen comparing factor-positive (8 33, 24%) factor-free 35, 23%). A higher frequency positive ANA, elevated IgA, increased CIC OID. CONCLUSION: Detection may help determine which are eligible prophylactic treatment. An immunologic profile characterized by high CIC, IgA distinguishes from ophthalmologic disorders.
