摘要: The mirid bug, Apolygus lucorum (Meyer-Dur) (Hemiptera: Miridae), is a major pest of cotton, fruit trees, and many other crops in China. While previous trials have found relatively low infestation levels A. fields treated with the acaricide dimethyl disulfide (DMDS), its mode action has not been determined. In this study, we assessed insecticidal repellent DMDS against under laboratory field conditions. did cause mortality adults or nymphs at concentrations 10.6 170.9 mg a.i./1. Y-tube olfactometer tests, both male female preferred clean air over odors. choice no-choice cage trials, feeding damage number eggs were lower on mungbean plants than control plants. Under conditions, adult density was DMDS-treated cotton untreated fields, effect lasted 6 d, but nymph populations affected. repelled distance up to m from DMDS-sprayed for d after application. This study demonstrates non-lethal suggests potential inclusion integrated management (IPM) schemes.
