摘要: Oligonucleotide microarrays were used to analyse gene expression profiles in human ZR75-1 breast cancer cells the presence of 17beta-oestradiol and oestrogen antagonists. Differential a number genes was confirmed by quantitative RNA analysis. In addition known oestrogen-responsive genes, an appreciable novel targets identified, including growth factors components cell cycle, adhesion molecules, enzymes, signalling molecules transcription factors. The most pronounced oestrogen-sensitive that for cytochrome P450-IIB enzyme, involved metabolising steroids xenobiotics, which increased 100-fold over 24 h period. It is direct target oestrogens, because its cyclohexamide. contrast, not detected MCF7 cells. Expressions cationic amino acid transporter E16, gap junction protein insulin-like factor binding 4 also markedly but kinetics induction varied according gene. With exception E16 4, majority unaffected antioestrogen treatment. Further analysis this set markers will provide alternative approaches investigation mitogenicity oestrogens
