摘要: Design criteria usually applied to estimate the impact force acted by a fluid-like debris flow against structure generally neglect actions arising during initial phase of phenomenon. Recent theoretical studies, mainly developed in field coastal engineering, point out, however, importance this phase; unfortunately, tests reported literature do not supply results useful propose simple, but reliable, rules design safeguarding measures, since recorded pressures are widely scattered. In paper, initial, impulsive fluid bodies structures is numerically (FEA) analysed: simulations carried out taking into account different models. Proposed allow identify most important physical and mechanical governing factors, understand their role time evolution as well corresponding effects, such structural damages displacements boulders.
