A decade's experience with the Scanlon Plan: A case study

摘要: This field study examined the operation and impact of Scanlon Plan at a large manufacturing facility. An interrupted time-series research design, augmented by extensive qualitative data analysis was used to analyse productivity employment experience over nine-year period. The plan resulted in modest increases stable employment, while improving overall union-management relationship. Through structure for employee involvement, 5000 suggestions have been made. Moderate consistent sharing bonuses were paid.
