摘要: Nanocarriers formulated with the US Food and Drug Administration-approved biocompatible biodegradable polymer poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) are being widely explored for controlled delivery of therapeutic drugs, proteins, peptides, oligonucleotides, genes. Surface functionalization PLGA nanoparticles has paved way to a variety engineered PLGA-based nanocarriers, which, depending on reticular requirements, can demonstrate wide combined properties functions such as prolonged residence time in blood circulation, enhanced oral bioavailability, site-specific drug delivery, tailored release characteristics. The present review highlights recent leaps nanotechnology particular focus cancer therapeutics. Starting brief introduction nanotechnology, we then discuss developmental aspects vitro vivo efficacy nanocarriers terms targeted or gene delivery. main objective this is convey information about state art critically address limitations need further progress clinical developments emerging technology.
