摘要: Data on characteristics of metal-oxide surge arresters indicates that for fast front surges, those with rise times less than 8µs, the peak voltage wave occurs before current and residual across arrester increases as time to crest discharge decreases. Several models have been proposed simulate this frequency-dependent characteristic. These differ in calculation adjustment their parameters. In present paper, a simulation metal oxide (MOSA) dynamic behavior during electromagnetic transients power systems is done. Some literature are used. The simulations performed Alternative Transients Program (ATP) version Electromagnetic Transient (EMTP) t o evaluate some verify accuracy.
