摘要: Abstract The discrepancy in A 40 K ratios between micas and feldspars reported by Wetherill has been confirmed. Assuming no A40 to be inherited potassium minerals, a branching ratio of 0.113 is calculated from dated mica samples. This implies that the investigated have retained 85% or more their argon. R = 0.085 interpreted an empirical calibration constant which corrects for argon loss. four authigenic minerals determined ages are found reasonable agreement with times assigned geologic periods Holmes.
