摘要: The diversity of voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCC) allows precise time- and voltage-dependent regulation ions entry into cells. Individual channel subtypes participate in the initiation neuronal action potential repetitive firing; cardiac pacemaking signal conduction; shaping an plateau; repolarization. Calcium through VGCC is necessary for smooth muscle cell contraction. Since disrupted homeostasis accompanies various pathologies, complex pattern physiology by makes them attractive target pharmaceutical agents. most common pathologies treated with blockers are cardiovascular diseases, especially hypertension, angina, tachycardia. In addition, have been identified as targets some antiepileptic anesthetic drugs. More recently, specific were introduced treatment chronic pain, these also proved beneficial support therapy neurodegenerative diseases cognitive impairment.
