摘要: Abstract The present work makes a comparison between the two most used environmental sustainability indices of nations: “ecological footprint” and “environmental index”, with emergy ratios (renewability index). All them are gaining space within scientific community government officials. Despite efforts for obtaining an index that adequately represents region, according to result this research, nowadays there is not yet completely satisfactory index. We consider all need be improved, but results point out possibility one better through junction ecological footprint renewability
