摘要: An open-ended questionnaire was administered to 53 of some the better patients using five different kinds cochlear implants. The subjects listed advantages and disadvantages their implant. Patients were asked about time from implantation until maximum benefit effect implant on tinnitus. Advantages reported in (1) speech perception when speechreading can be used (85%); (2) environmental sound (75%); (3) psychologic effects (70%); (4) cannot (64%); (5) lifestyle social (42%); (6) production (32%). Disadvantages use equipment (79%); environmental-sound (47%); may (17%); (11%); is not (9%); (3.8%); (7) (1.9%). Ninety-one percent indicated that they achieved first 7 months cochlear-implant use. Eighty-one with tinnitus had a positive In 17 cases no 2 it made worse.
