摘要: A model of crowd behavior and movement in the Jamarat system, which is a critical bottleneck during Hajj, Muslims' annual pilgrimage to Makkah, Saudi Arabia, described. The consists set partial differential equations that are solved numerically following discretization time space. Mathematical relations defined for three fundamental processes: (a) radial movement, (b) lateral (c) stoning process. These developed calibrated using actual measurements taken at site. As result, bidirectional speed-concentration describe revealing impedance from facility users going same direction about twice those opposite direction. overall applied evaluation possible design control strategies aimed improving efficiency throughput system.
