Influence of congestive heart failure on blood levels of lidocaine and its active monodeethylated metabolite

摘要: The blood concentrations of lidocfaine and its active monodeethylated metabolite, monethylglycinexylidide (MEGX), were measured in 31 patients who receiving infusiions lidocaine intravenously. In 3 studied intensively, the elimination half-life MEGX was 120 min, which similar to (139 min). An addition demonstrated a higher ratio concentration lidocaine, may have contributed, 1 patient, central nervous system toxicity that occurred during infusion. Elevated associated with congestive heart failure (r equalto 0.5, p equal 0.004). Our data suggest be decreased depressed cardiac output sympathomimetic compensation.
