Dental caries prevalence, tooth brushing and periodontal status in 150 young people in Istanbul: a pilot study.

摘要: Objective: To evaluate periodontal conditions, prevalence and determination of dental caries oral health behaviours in a group young people Istanbul. Design: Subjects were orally examined questioned. Setting: A high school Subjects: One hundred fifty students. Results: This study showed that 28 per cent teenagers had adequate hygiene. These findings suggest 72 the subjects needed hygiene education required restorative care. Conclusions: The present treatment need is very sample group. Strong co-operation should be set up between families, schools, communities, regulators legislators order to develop implement comprehensive promotion programmes.
