摘要: Abstract The supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) of phenolic compounds from Eucalyptus globulus bark was carried out along with detailed analysis the extracts for first time. were accessed in terms of: (i) yield (EY), (ii) total content by Folin–Ciocalteu method (TPC), (iii) phenolics quantified high performance liquid chromatography (PC-HPLC), and (iv) antioxidant activity (AA). Preliminary runs performed pure modified CO2, using ethanol (EtOH), ethyl acetate, water. CO2/EtOH mixture provided best yield, activity. Results also demonstrated selectivity to flavanones, particularly eriodictyol naringenin; O-methylated flavonol isorhamentin, found abundance. To analyse influence temperature, flow rate on SFE at 300 bar CO2/EtOH, a full 23 design experiments accomplished. most favourable conditions under experimental range studied as 70 °C, 20% ethanol, 10 g CO2 min−1, which EY = 0.48%, TPC = 57.22 mg of gallic acid equivalents (GAE) g−1 extract, PC-HPLC = 119.46 mg g−1 AA = 49.74 mg of ascorbic acid equivalents (AAE) g−1 extract.
