摘要: Abstract Particle–particle and particle–wall collisions in gas–solid fluidized beds lead to charge accumulation on particles. This work evaluated the effect of fluidization time transfer bipolar charging (charge separation) their influence hydrodynamic structures a bed. Experiments were performed with glass beads polyethylene particles column. The pressure fluctuations net electrostatic measured during fluidization. Wavelet short-time Fourier transforms used analyze fluctuations. results revealed that is dominant tribocharging mechanism bed beads. Bipolar narrow size distribution does not affect either or transition velocity turbulent regime. A large difference between functions wall particle leads high transfer. Formation stagnant layer eventually causes energy macro-structures increase its maximum. At longer times, macro-structural decreases bubbles shrink until reaches equilibrium level. These well describe structures.
