摘要: The spreading of a localized distribution surfactant on thin viscous film is considered, in the situation which soluble bulk layer and boundary beneath fluid impermeable to surfactant. controlled by advection diffusion both at surface film, where forms monolayer, bulk. concentrations are related linearized sorption kinetics. diffuses rapidly across layer, lubrication theory used derive evolution equations for height cross‐sectionally averaged concentrations. A special case governing describes Marangoni flow induced locally hot region layer. It shown that comparison insoluble surfactant, transient desorption from monolayer causes rate diminish, although once equilibrium, deformations more severe, with sharp pulse created just upstream leading edge distribution.
