摘要: Recent benthic foraminiferal distribution patterns in Guanabara Bay are investigated relation to temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and organic carbon content. Patterns of fauna differ between the entrance bay inner parts. The primary result present study is that Cassidulina subglobosa Discorbis williamsoni appear be governed by lower temperature higher salinities being found bay. According content it was observed Quinqueloculina seminulum occurs when values than 2 mg/l, intolerant low bottom water conditions. By other hand, Buliminella elegantissima, Bolivina striatula Bulimmina elongata flourishes under waters sediment where matter accumulation high, mainly central parts
