摘要: In pigs, gut bacteria have been shown to play important roles in nutritional, physiological, and immunological processes the host. However, contribution of their metagenomes or part them, which are normally reflected by fragments 16S rRNA-encoding genes, has yet be fully investigated. Fecal samples, collected from a population crossbred pigs at three time points, including weaning, week 15 post weaning (hereafter “week 15”), end-of-feeding test “off-test”), were used evaluate changes composition fecal microbiome each animal over time. This study 1205, 1295, 1283 samples 15, off-test, respectively. There 1039 animals that had all points also phenotypic records on back fat thickness (BF) average daily body weight gain (ADG). Firmicutes Bacteroidetes most abundant phyla points. The genera included Clostridium, Escherichia, Bacteroides, Prevotella, Ruminococcus, Fusobacterium, Campylobacter, Eubacterium, Lactobacillus. Two enterotypes identified point. only off-test significantly associated with BF. We report herein two novel findings: (i) alpha diversity operational taxonomic unit (OTU) richness moderately heritable h2 0.15 ± 0.06 0.16 ± 0.07 0.23 ± 0.09 0.26 ± 0.08, respectively, as well 0.20 ± 0.09 0.33 ± 0.10 0.17 ± 0.08 0.24 ± 0.08, whereas very low heritability estimates for both measures detected weaning; (ii) strong negative genetic correlations BF, − 0.53 ± 0.23 − 0.45 ± 0.25, ADG, − 0.53 ± 0.32 − 0.53 ± 0.29. These results efforts genetically improve domesticated pig because they suggest microbiota can an indicator trait traits expensive measure.
