摘要: The effect of a single injection estradiol cyclopentylpropionate (ECP) in various doses on ovum transport was studied the guinea pig hamster mouse rabbit and rat. interruption pregnancy 80% or more animals achieved with following doese ECP: 10 mcg (guinea pig); 25 (hamster); 1 (mouse); 50 (rabbit); (rat). ECP accelerated through oviduct: 50-100 100 mct minimum caused retention ova for longer than normal period tubal passage (tubal-locking): 250 hamster); (rabbit). Tube-locking never observed rat after as evidenced by premature entry into uterine horns. majority tube-locked were found ampullar-isthmic junction rather utero-tubal region. results suggest that is process readily lends itself to study development fertility control methods.
