Minimum inhibitory concentrations of selected antimicrobial compounds against Flavobacterium psychrophilum the causal agent of rainbow trout fry syndrome (RTFS)

摘要: Abstract The in vitro susceptibilities of 48 isolates Flavobacterium psychrophilum, the causal agent rainbow trout fry syndrome (RTFS), to major fish farming antimicrobial agents and a selection other antimicrobials were assessed using broth microdilution method. These data used along with previous published antibiograms for F. drug serum tissue levels reports clinical effect an attempt predict probable therapeutic efficacy. results indicated that resistance most commonly compounds was significant, but doxycycline, sarafloxacin, enrofloxacin florfenicol showed potential as candidate vivo trials.
