摘要: Dermatophytosis is a mycotic infection that affects the superficial keratinized tissues (cornified epidermis, hair, horn, nail, and feathers) of humans other animals. The disease caused by taxonomically related group fungi, dermatophytes. Currently, approximately 40 species dermatophytes have been identified grouped into three genera—Trichophyton, Microsporum Epidermophyton. Of these, 11 are implicated in human infections (Rippon, 1988).
