摘要: The objective of this study is to numerically investigate the convective heat transfer water-based Al2O3 nanofluids flowing through a square cross-section duct with constant flux under laminar flow conditions. effects nanoparticle concentration and Peclet number on characteristics Al2O3-water are investigated. diameter 25 nm six particle concentrations (0.2, 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5 vol.%) considered. numerical results show that coefficients Nusselt numbers increase increases in as well volume concentration. coefficient increased by 25.5% at 2.5% 7500 compared base fluid (pure water). It noteworthy same 2.5%, enhancement nanofluid (25.5%) much higher than effective thermal conductivity (9.98%). Thus, cannot be solely attributed conductivity. Additionally, coincide published experimental data.
