摘要: Summary Objective To define for the first time transcriptomes of normal and end-stage osteoarthritis (OA) hip cartilage. Materials methods RNA was isolated from cartilage within 2h joint replacement surgery. Gene expression analyzed using Agilent GeneSpring GX 11 following hybridization to Illumina Human HT-12 V3 microarrays. Real-time reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) used validate six genes identified by microarray as differentially expressed. Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) Ingenuity Pathway (IPA) were investigate enriched functions or canonical pathways amongst expressed respectively. Results In total we 998 (fold change≥±1.5, P -value≤0.01) between neck femur fracture (NOF) ( n =10) OA =9) patient These 71 pathways. A comparison a comparable knee dataset 20 only 229 similarly although remarkably 34 overlapped experiments.
