摘要: Many children show negative emotions related to mathematics and some even develop anxiety. The present study focused on the relation between arithmetical performance in with without developmental dyscalculia (DD) using an affective priming task. Previous findings suggested that arithmetic is influenced if prime precedes presentation of problem. In DD specifically, responses operations are supposed be facilitated by both mathematics-related primes (=negative math effect). We investigated mathematical performance, anxiety, domain-general abilities 172 primary school (76 96 controls). All participants also underwent task which consisted decision whether a simple operation (addition or subtraction) was preceded (positive/negative/neutral mathematics-related) true false. Our did not reveal effect DD. Furthermore, when considering accuracy levels, gender, could replicated. However, showed more anxiety explicitly assessed specific interview lower compared controls. Moreover, equally boys girls, earliest stages schooling, interfered negatively performance. conclusion, often associated can manifested particularly Importantly, suggest age group, it reliable judge investigate its effects adequate questionnaires than
