Sequence of a putative promoter region for the rRNA genes of tobacco chloroplast DNA

摘要: The nucleotide sequence of the segment tobacco chloroplast DNA adjacent to and including start 16S rRNA gene has been determined. region just preceding this was found contain a tRNAVal promoter-type sequences similar those which occur in E. coli were before tRNA gene. RNA polymerase can recognize these vitro co-transcribes genes.
