摘要: The persistence of the hierarchy problem points to a violation effective field theory expectations. A compelling possibility is that this results from physical breakdown EFT, which may arise correlations between ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) physics. To end, we study noncommutative (NCFT) as toy model UV/IR mixing generates an emergent scale dynamics. We explore range such theories where divergences are transmogrified into scales, focusing particularly on properties Yukawa theory, identify new pole accessible in $s$-channel Lorentzian theory. further investigate interplay UV-finiteness by studying softly-broken Wess-Zumino soft terms varied relative cutoff. While Lorentz inherent limit their direct application problem, these models provide general lessons guide realization more realistic theories.
