摘要: Abstract Ultralow sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel was blended with 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% of butanol by volume. The effects these fuels on physicochemical characteristics particulate emissions the cytotoxicity extracts from a single cylinder, direct injection stationary engine were investigated working at constant speed 3000 revolutions per min (rpm) 25%, 50% 75% its maximum output power. results indicated decrease in mass elemental carbon (EC) emissions, while an increase proportion organic (OC) particles fuel. Compared to ULSD, total number concentrations volatile non-volatile reduced significantly for fuels, whereas diameter less than 15 nm increased blends low load. polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) as well their carcinogenic potency also observed when contained butanol. In general, all particle showed decline cell viability dose load maintaining same dose, based MTT assay.
