摘要: Understanding how human organs respond to ionizing radiation (IR) at a systems biology level and identifying biomarkers for IR exposure low doses can help provide scientific basis establishing protection standards. Little is known regarding the physiological responses dose metabolite level, which represents end-point of biochemical processes inside cells. Using full thickness skin tissue model GC-MS-based metabolomic analysis, we examined metabolic perturbations three time points (3, 24 48 h) after 3, 10 200 cGy X-rays. PLS-DA score plots revealed dose- time-dependent clustering between sham irradiated groups. Importantly, delayed were observed IR. When compared with high cGy, comparable number significantly changed metabolites detected h (3 cGy) irradiation. Biochemical pathway analysis showed DNA/RNA damage repair, lipid energy metabolisms, even
