Risk Factors for Suicide Attempts among Korean Adolescents

摘要: This study examined the rate of suicide attempts and relevant variables identified risk factors for among Korean adolescents. A cross-sectional was performed using an anonymous, self-report questionnaire. total 2,100 adolescents, including 1,321 student adolescents 779 delinquent were selected a proportional stratified random sampling method this study. The results showed to be 11.6%, with reporting higher than Adolescent indicated levels dysfunctional family dynamics maladaptive personalities. In addition, who attempted expressed significantly lower level life satisfaction less effective coping strategies compared those had not suicide. Logistic regression analysis revealed that five predictive appeared statistically significant: strategy, parental child-rearing pattern, depression, parent-child relationship, psychosomatic symptoms, in order at p < 0.05.
