摘要: IN seeking simple physiological methods for blocking followed by synchronization of cell division, materials were sought which, applied prolonged periods, permitted synthesis ribonucleic acid (RNA) and protein but inhibited cells immediately prior to DNA replication. During this I used excess (2 mM) thymidine as a blocking-synchronizing agent.
