摘要: To achieve a better understanding of environmental issues related to soil erosion, flooding, and solute transport, it is necessary understand the variability moisture under different climatic geological conditions at spatio-temporal scales. Moisture patterns based on five depths (0–5, 15–20, 25–30, 45–50, 70–75 cm) were determined in Da Nangou catchment loess plateau China from May September 1999. Spatial structure profile-averaged layer-averaged was analysed using semivariograms. The results indicated that exhibits changing spatial dependence with time depth. For moisture, high sills [4.6–14 %(v/v)2] ranges (135–160 m) observed during dry conditions. [2.6–6.3 (%v/v)2] (140 small wet However, described by linear semivariograms without sill following significant rain event. increased depth, but not for ranges. nuggets tended increase higher sills. This analysis provides insights into large scale interpolation strategies extrapolating point measurements across catchment.
