摘要: This chapter is dedicated to using the variational multiscale method derive an explicit a posteriori error estimator for computational fluid dynamics with emphasis on scalar transport equation. The based model that introduces approximations compatible theory of stabilized methods, yielding very economical procedure. Yet, strategy gives accurate local and global estimates, uniformly from diffusive hyperbolic limit can be easily implemented in existing computer codes.
