摘要: Recently, NIH has funded a center for autophagy research named the Autophagy, Inflammation, and Metabolism (AIM) Center of Biomedical Research Excellence, located at University New Mexico Health Science (UNM HSC), with aspirations to promote locally, nationally, internationally. The 3 major missions: (i) support junior faculty in their endeavors develop investigations this area obtain independent funding; (ii) provide technological platforms advance emphasis on cellular approaches high quality reproducible research; (iii) foster international collaborations through formation an International Council Affiliate Members hosting national workshops symposia. Scientifically, AIM is focused its intersections other processes, both fundamental discoveries applied translational research.
