摘要: The suitability of structures installed to enable safe passage wildlife across a road is most frequently determined by monitoring after new roads are built. Rarely field tested before installation. We canopy rope-bridges in an area frequented koalas (Phascolarctos cinereus) with the explicit aim determining whether might use such structures. Rope-bridges were four different designs maximise likelihood that one be used, as precursor further replication. Infrared cameras on well two nearby reference trees compare frequency use.
