摘要: The helix-turn-helix motif was first observed in the structures of certain proteins that bind to specific regulatory sites on deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). It is made up a part protein comprising an α-helix followed by turn second aligned approximately 120° first. When binds its site, occupies one grooves DNA and critical recognizing correct target. Keywords: Cro; CAP; DNA binding; gene regulation
