摘要: It was estimated the quality of white-tailed deer habitat by vegetation types into two Management Units for Conservation Wildlife (UMA's), in depression Rio Balsas Puebla-Mexico. The methodology used was: "transect steps direct and indirect points with help walking stick”, 28 transects were drawn 2 800 sampling 4 995.85 ha available to deer. There three types: tropical deciduous forest (TDF), desert scrub (MX) oak or Quercus (OF). MX is best vegetative type "base cover" (42.5 34.9%), followed DF (32.3 34.6%) OF (19.9 25.5%). However, has a higher percentage "bare earth" (54 51.4%), it also "organic mulch" (27 23%), which regarded as feature prevents erosion ground, soil erosion. on all levels (0.37, 1.6, 2.3 4.8 m), while have similar heights strata. one "quality condition" (56.9%), (50.5%), while. "fair (48.6), therefore, special attention should be taken conservation management that vegetation. Finally, condition, we conclude UMA's, are located category "good", between 53.2 51%, respectively, recommended activities improvement especially time drought.
