Nomenclatorial notes, new synonyms, and new species of New World Notoxinae (Coleoptera: Anthicidae)

摘要: New names are proposed for two junior homonyms: Notoxus peccatus Chandler and Nardi, orientalis Chandler; tlaxcalensis Nardi pygidialis Chandler. Two new synonymies recognized: dugesi Pic, 1901 (= stephani Chandler, 1978); fraternas Champion 1890 talpa var. subnotatus 1913). argentinus Pic is redescribed, may be an introduced Palearctic species. Three species described: N. carrorum Rocky Mountains of North America; beameri Mexico; lipovskyi western Mexico.
