摘要: The increasing incidence of drug-resistant pathogens and toxicity existing antifungal compounds has drawn attention towards the antimicrobial activity natural products. aim present study was to evaluate coriander essential oil according classical bacteriological techniques, as well with flow cytometry. effect upon germ tube formation, seen an important virulence factor, potential synergism amphotericin B were also studied. Coriander a fungicidal against Candida strains tested MLC values equal MIC value ranging from 0.05 0.4% (v/v). Flow cytometric evaluation BOX, PI DRAQ5 staining indicates that is result cytoplasmic membrane damage subsequent leakage intracellular components such DNA. Also, concentrations bellow caused marked reduction in percentage formation for C. albicans strains. A synergetic between obtained strains, while tropicalis strain only additive observed. This describes on spp., which could be useful designing new formulations candidosis treatment.
