摘要: The properties of albitic melts are central to thermodynamic models for synthetic and natural granitic liquids. We have analyzed published phase-equilibrium data the dry fusion high albite develop a more accurate equation Gibbs free energy this reaction 30 kbar 1400 degrees C. Strict criteria reversal were used evaluate data, solid liquid evaluated using uncertainties in original measurements. Results suggest that neither available experiments nor tightly constrain location reaction. Experimental solidus temperatures at 1 atm range from 1100 1120 High-pressure not reversed completely may been affected by several sources error, but apparent inconsistencies among results various experimentalists eliminated when only half-reversal considered. Uncertainties yield large variations permissible slopes. Disparities between experimental calculated melting curves are, therefore, largely attributable these difficulties, there is no fundamental disagreement albite. Consequently, complex speciation melts, based on assumption discrepancies represent real characteristic system, unjustified time.
