摘要: Sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) is being described with increasing incidence among patients end-stage renal disease (ESRD) undergoing hemodialysis (HD). There are no widely accepted guidelines in the medical literature for appropriate management of this emergency. Administration systemic steroids remains mainstay SSNHL conjunction supportive treatment, vulnerable group patients, as well. However, encouraged by evolving evidence on efficacy intratympanic steroid injections (ITSI) treatment without disease--we successfully treated an elderly diabetic sepsis due to bilateral pneumonitis regular HD multiple ITSI and antibiotics resulting complete recovery function within 3 months onset first symptoms.
