摘要: Purpose: Cardiovascular disease is the main nonobstetric cause of maternal death during pregnancy and present in 0.5-4% pregnancies western world. While hypertensive disorders remain most frequent events, occurring 6-8% all pregnancies, cardiomyopathies are rare but encompass high complication rates. The aim this systematic review to report data available up date regarding patients with left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC) cardiomyopathy. Methods: PubMed, Medline, Cochrane, Scopus Embase were searched, January 2019, using combinations these terms: noncompaction, hypertrabeculation cardiomyopathy, spongy myocardium, spongiform cardiomyopathy delivery, gestation, pregnancy, cesarean section (CS). After careful selection, 22 articles, reporting a total 30 cases, including our own included review. Results: Fifteen out 26 women (58%) diagnosed LVNC before pregnancy. Around 56% presented symptoms while 44% asymptomatic. Heart failure by far common symptom almost half cases. Uncommon clinical presentations heart attack, stroke, pulmonary hypertension. Timing delivery was reported preterm 58% cases at term 42%. Eleven gave birth through vaginal 15 underwent CS. Our case first where both mother fetus affected prenatally. Conclusions: not contraindication for clearly increases risk rate section. On other hand, patient exposes her increased deterioration. Further studies needed better characterize management cardiomyopathies.
