摘要: This paper presents a model of the artificial ice track in Whistler, Canada that is based on its construction data, and two-men bobsleigh consisting nine rigid bodies, having 13 degrees freedom incorporating 17 hard frictional contacts. These models are implemented within simulator capable performing accurate real time simulations piloted runs commonly available PC hardware. The simulation verified against results official race took place during Olympic Winter Games 2010. has been used by several professional Swiss pilots their preparation for 2014 Sochi, Russia. exploited to analyse judge range possible driving lines regarding speed runtime improvements. It could also serve consult designers about safety issues sleigh constructors expected dynamics track.
