摘要: Despite the incidence and prevalence of urothelial bladder cancer (UBC), few advances in treatment diagnosis have been made recent years. In this review, we discuss potential biomarker candidates: tropomyosin family genes, encoded by four loci human genome. The expression these genes is tissue-specific. Tropomyosins are responsible for diverse cellular roles, most notably based upon their interplay with actin to maintain processes, integrity structure. exhibit a large variety splice forms, altered isoform levels associated cancer, including UBC. Notably, isoforms detectable urine, offering non-invasive risk-stratification. This review collates basic knowledge on its isoforms, discusses relationships cancer-related phenomena, specifically
